I'm Marcus Dunne — a full-stack developer in Adelaide, Australia, shipping Solana programs, WooCommerce and nopCommerce stores, and custom web apps for clients worldwide. No platform fees, no middleman, no take rate. Just a structured brief, a scoped quote, and milestone payments held until you approve.
How it works
Same structure marketplaces trained you on: post the job, get a scoped quote, pay in milestones, receive the deliverable. Here it just goes straight to the person doing the work.
Budget range, tech stack, timeline, links to repos or existing sites. Five minutes, and it's everything I need to scope properly.
A written proposal with fixed milestones, deliverables per milestone, and a total price. You know exactly what you're paying for before anything starts.
A deposit starts the work. Each remaining milestone is only charged when you approve the delivered work — escrow in practice, without a marketplace in the middle.
Received → scoped → in progress → review → delivered. Files, threaded comments and invoices in one place instead of scattered across email.

Productized packages
If your project fits one of these, skip the quote cycle — pick the package in the brief form and we start from a known price.
Theme setup, payments, shipping zones, tax, up to 50 products migrated, launch checklist.
Manual review of your Anchor/native program: authority checks, CPI safety, arithmetic, PDA seeds, plus a written findings report.
Move an existing store to (or off) nopCommerce: catalogue, customers, order history, URL redirects, plugin parity review.
Web apps, dashboards, APIs, integrations — anything that doesn't fit a box. Scoped and quoted from your brief.
Case studies
Not a gallery of marketplace gigs — these are products designed, built and launched.
Product · Full-stack
A tracking platform built from zero to launch: data model, API, front end and deployment pipeline, designed for real-world daily use.
Solana · On-chain
A Solana-native product with on-chain programs written in Anchor — wallet flows, program design and the web app around them.
Web3 · Platform
A platform in the Solana ecosystem taken from concept through architecture to a working release, integrating on-chain and off-chain services.
“Scoped fast, delivered exactly what was quoted, and the milestone structure meant we never wondered where our money was.”— E-commerce client, store migration project
Payments, escrow & disputes
On Upwork, escrow works because a neutral third party sits in the middle. Here, protection comes from how payment is structured and what the contract says — and it's all published upfront.
A 30–50% deposit starts the project. Every remaining milestone is only charged after you approve the delivered work — funds are never taken for work you haven't seen. Larger projects can use Escrow.com as a formal third party.
Every project runs on a solicitor-reviewed agreement: defined scope, revision limits (two rounds per milestone), IP transfer on final payment, and a written remediation clause before anything escalates.
If we genuinely can't resolve something, the contract nominates independent mediation through the Resolution Institute (Australia) — a neutral third party, because I can't arbitrate disputes about my own work.
Paying by card through Stripe means you always retain chargeback rights with your issuer. That mechanism exists whether or not a platform sits in the middle — my terms are written to be clear enough that it's never needed.
Project brief
Structured on purpose — five minutes here saves a week of back-and-forth. You'll have a scoped quote within 48 hours.
